Caching & purge

Control what gets cached, for how long, and how to purge it.

Good cache rules cut origin load and speed up your site. MoralparkCDN respects origin cache headers and lets you override them per path.

Cache-Control

The simplest way to control caching is from your origin with standard headers:

Cache-Control: public, max-age=3600, stale-while-revalidate=86400

Purging

Purge a single URL after you update a page.
Purge by prefix to clear a whole directory.
Purge everything as a last resort, it briefly raises origin load.

Cache keys

By default the cache key is the host and path. If your content varies by query string or device, adjust the cache key so you don't serve the wrong variant.
